The PBS pledge, also known as a membership drive or fund drive, is a fundraising effort by the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) to encourage viewers to make donations to support their programming. During these drives, PBS stations interrupt regular programming to ask viewers for financial support. In return for their donations, viewers may receive special gifts or incentives, such as tickets to events, merchandise, or access to exclusive content. The funds raised during these pledges help PBS to continue producing high-quality, educational, and entertaining content for audiences nationwide. Whitney will be hosting Lakeshore PBS pledge drive this December.
